    I made this today. My husband gave it a 3/5, I followed the recipe to the tee. I feel like it was too grainy and it was missing something. We added some stevia at the end. It needs to be sweeter and the icing needs to be thicker, it’s too cheesy. Will be looking for another recipe.

    I tried this recipe and the batter turned out too watery for me. When I took it out of the oven, the cake couldn't hold its form and broke apart. The only ingredient I did not put in was shredded coconut because I didn't have it at home.

    I loved that you used super healthy almond flour instead of regular gluten free. My father is elderly and I'm gluten free and my sister loves carrot cake so I can't wait to try this on my family.     I forgot I had halved the recipe and I saw “3/4 teaspoon of sea salt” and mindlessly put the full amount in… Safe to say it’s horrendous 😂😂😭

    I tried this recipe today. I made some adjustments, so I wanted to share with those who are interested.
    I replaced the maple syrup in the cake batter with 1/4 cups coconut sugar (same amount honey would work too). I did not add the applesauce. For the frosting, I used honey and it turned out amazing!
